**Experience being led through a Waldorf homeschool daily rhythm including circle time and warmups, math and language arts main lessons, storytelling, beeswax modeling, drawing with beeswax crayons, handwork, and more.

This workshop will focus especially on Kindergarten-grade 2, but will still be valuable for parents of early childhood and upper elementary children as well.
Workshop Leader--
Janis Craft began her journey with Waldorf Education in 2008 at Sound Circle Center Waldorf Teacher Training in Seattle, WA where she soon had the wonderful opportunity to live above a Waldorf Kindergarten learning the rhythms of the school through daily observation. After becoming a parent, her journey continued through first-hand experiences in Waldorf parent-child classes as well as being a part of the thriving Waldorf community in Seattle and regularly attending festivals, lectures, and workshops. When her family moved to Asheville, NC, Janis joined the Asheville Waldorf School initiative, participating in getting the new school off the ground in various ways from committee work to leading new parent workshops to organizing and performing in festivals and teaching theatre in the 6th grade class. When her growing family needed more wild spaces to roam, they moved to Marshall, NC and Janis began homeschool kindergarten with her oldest son, using a Waldorf homeschool curriculum. She taught various classes through their homeschool co-op there as well as assisting in a forest school program and eventually teaching French and theatre in a 2-day-a-week homeschool supplement program, much like Wild Roots. Currently, Janis continues to homeschool her youngest three boys 2nd, 6th and 9th grade and teaches a mixed age K-2 homeschool supplement program at Wild Roots on Flowerfield Farmstead in Three Rivers, MI.
